We are currently recruiting for a Commis Chefto join our team at one of our conference venuesin Birmingham B4 7ET.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days.

You'll work a variety of shifts between the hours of 6:00am and 9:30pm, including 6:00am to 2:30pm, 7:00am to 3:30pm, 10:00am to 6:30pm, 11:00am to 7:30pm, and 1:00pm to 9:30pm.

We are looking for a driven, passionate and focused Commis Chef to join our friendly and supportive kitchen team.

Working alongside our talented senior chefs and visiting guest chefs, you'll receive hands-on training across every section of the kitchen.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, basic knife skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Prepare fresh ingredients and assist with food preparation across all kitchen sections.
  • Support senior chefs during service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards consistently.
  • Assist with stock rotation and organisation.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent food and service.
