We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Hospitality & Events Manager to join our team at a flagship workplace restaurant in London. Wilson Vale is an established, quality‑led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high‑end ethos throughout.

This is a full‑time position based on a 40‑hour working week. Core hours are typically 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday; however, flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business. As the business primarily operates Monday to Friday, weekend work is very rare, although evening support may be required for hospitality events, with working hours sometimes extending to 11:00 pm. The kitchen caters daily for approximately 350 people, in addition to a varied and busy hospitality operation. The site delivers a diverse range of hospitality experiences, including breakfast service, buffets, sandwich lunches, fork dining, fine dining, working lunches, meeting catering, and seasonal celebrations. Every offering is delivered with creativity, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the day‑to‑day hospitality operation, ensuring all services are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Manage, inspire, and motivate the hospitality team.
  • Be hands‑on and lead by example.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and ensure client requirements are met.
  • Support staff development through training, coaching, and positive leadership.
  • Oversee labour and operational costs.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen to deliver cohesive, innovative, and bespoke hospitality offerings.
  • Uphold consistent standards of service, presentation, and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a hospitality management or events management role.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, coach, and inspire a team.
  • Comfortable being hands‑on and working on the floor when required.
  • Excellent understanding of premium service standards, with a strong focus on detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage costs, control labour budgets, and improve efficiency.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, especially in high‑pressure environments.
  • Commercial awareness with knowledge of P&L accounts and budgeting.
