We are currently recruiting for a Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our conference venues in Birmingham, B4.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis.

Wilson Vale is an established, quality-led contract caterer. We work with amazing clients across the UK who place huge value on great food as a key part of their culture and community. We work in office restaurants, independent schools and at conference venues with the same high-end ethos throughout.

We’re seeking a passionate Chef de Partie who values work-life balance and enjoys working in a collaborative kitchen environment. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential, as we encourage our chefs to work across all sections to develop their skills and maintain a strong team dynamic.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Solid experience across various sections (pastry, breakfast, street food, a la carte, etc.)

  • A passion for exceptional food and outstanding guest service

  • Good knowledge of food hygiene standards (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)

  • Excellent culinary and knife skills

  • Good organisational and communication skills

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

  • Eligibility to work in the UK

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook dishes for a range of services, including breakfast, BBQs, lunch, dinner, private functions, and conferences

  • Assist in creating weekly menus alongside senior chefs

  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of stock control and reducing food waste

  • Be flexible and willing to work across different sections of the kitchen
