We are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join our team at one of our conference venues in Maidenhead, Cookham SL6 9QH.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day culinary operations of a busy kitchen that runs 7 days a week, from 6:30am to 10pm. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week), working 5 out of 7 days on a rota basis, with shifts covering both mornings and evenings.

We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join a dynamic kitchen where creativity and seasonality take centre stage. You will work with fresh, high-quality ingredients to produce expressive, from-scratch dishes, while contributing to a wide range of services including breakfast, lunch, dinner, fine dining events, and private functions. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop versatility and showcase your culinary skills across diverse styles of cuisine.
As a front-facing position, strong communication and a professional, personable manner are essential, alongside solid culinary technique. You will support senior chefs, maintain high standards of food quality, organisation, and hygiene, and ensure smooth service while adhering to health, safety, and compliance procedures. As our Chef de Partie, you will:
- Demonstrate stability, quality, and passion in your role, with proven experience in a similar position.
- Have excellent people skills
- Have general knowledge of food hygiene, NVQ level 2 or equivalent
- Be passionate about food and customer service
- Have superb culinary skills
- Have good organisational and communication skills
- Be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team of 6
- Be eligible to work in the UK
You will be able to create and develop our dishes and will assist the Chefs in creation of weekly menus. A knowledge and understanding of the importance of stock control and food wastage is essential.
