This is a 6 – 12 month temporary contract working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. The role is based at one of our workplace restaurants in London, N1C.
We are looking for a positive and reliable Catering Assistant to join our friendly team of 5, serving around 180 people daily on a site of 250. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided. You’ll support with the preparation and service of fresh, daily menus including breakfast specials, a juice and yoghurt bar, hot lunches, salads, deli sandwiches, and barista coffee. The role involves maintaining high standards of hygiene, providing excellent customer service, and working flexibly across different food stations with a can-do, team-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and service of daily menus across breakfast, lunch, salads, deli items and beverages
- Support hygiene and food safety standards, keeping work areas clean and organized
- Provide excellent customer service and work across different food stations as needed
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a positive, efficient service flow
Skills and Experience
- No previous experience required – training provided
- Highly organized and comfortable working in a busy environment
- Strong standards of food hygiene, health & safety awareness
- Ability to keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
