Wilson Golf are in a very thrilling position to offer a specialist Area Sales Manager role representing the Wilson Golf brand. This will be a full‐time position covering the South and South East territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the brand to its fullest.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
An exciting opportunity has been made available as an Area Sales Manager – we are seeking a proactive individual to drive sales and distribution to achieve significant sales targets for Wilson Golf, acting as a business partner with your accounts. Reporting directly to the Market Manager for South East and working closely with the Marketing Executive.
- Successfully sell and promote Wilson Golf products and services, while maximising the commercial potential of the territory.
- Ensuring formidable trade partnerships are maintained and formed with new ones.
- Developing a seasonal action plan to develop Wilson Golf and key specialty dealers' business with omni‐channel focus.
- Articulate and effective in presenting the brand and product to customers.
- Creating and presenting plans to accounts to develop key categories, drive sell‐through, and engaging with the trade and consumers.
- Building a strong joint business and consumer plan with our premium partners that deliver on key strategic objectives of Wilson Golf brand philosophy to maximise consumer experience at the specialty retailer.
- Developing and scouting our Ambassador / Influencer programme within the territory.
- Provide excellent service to Wilson accounts including merchandising, product/fitting training and relationship building.
- Delivering sustainable distribution growth with trade partners.
- Utilising Wilson Golf trade marketing / sell‐through programs / Instore excellence.
- Coordinating with the other internal customer contacts and teams, ensuring all points of contact with customers achieve a high standard of customer care.
- Training retail staff and managing / participating in consumer / demo events.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Preferably PGA Qualified or equivalent – highly desirable.
- Strong background in a similar B2B selling role with account management focus, preferably within the sports industry.
- Highly self‐motivated.
- High school level education / degree level of advantage.
- Strong knowledge of golf industry in the territory and a good level golf player.
- Good understanding of IT systems and MS Office.
- Good spreadsheet analysis experience.
- High business acumen and customer value orientation.
- Strong negotiation and solution‐selling ability and managing objections.
- Living in South and South East preferably London, Surrey, Essex.
- Willingness to travel.
- Valid driving license.
