Wilson Sporting Goods Co. is seeking a proactive individual for the Area Sales Manager role representing the Wilson Golf brand in South and South East England. This full-time position involves driving sales and distribution to achieve significant sales targets, acting as a business partner with accounts.

What You'll Do:

  • Successfully sell and promote Wilson Golf products and services while maximising the commercial potential of the territory.
  • Maintain and form formidable trade partnerships with specialty retailers.
  • Develop a seasonal action plan to enhance Wilson Golf and key specialty dealers’ business with an omni-channel focus.
  • Present the brand and product effectively to customers.
  • Create and present plans to develop key categories, drive sell-through, and engage with trade and consumers.
  • Build a strong joint business and consumer plan with premium partners to maximise consumer experience.
  • Develop and scout the Ambassador/Influencer programme within the territory.
  • Provide excellent service to Wilson accounts, including merchandising, product/fitting training, and relationship building.
  • Deliver sustainable distribution growth with trade partners.
  • Utilise Wilson Golf trade marketing/sell-through programs and instore excellence.
  • Coordinate with internal customer contacts and teams to ensure high standards of customer care.
  • Train retail staff and manage/participate in consumer/demo events.

What We're Looking For:

  • Preferably PGA Qualified or equivalent – highly desirable.
  • Strong background in a similar B2B selling role with account management focus, preferably within the sports industry.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • High school level education/degree level of advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of the golf industry in the territory and a good level golf player.
  • Good understanding of IT systems and MS Office.
  • Good spreadsheet analysis experience.
  • High business acumen and customer value orientation.
  • Strong negotiation and solution-selling ability and managing objections.
  • Living in South and South East, preferably London, Surrey, Essex.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Valid driving license.
