Position: DBS Sous Chef Location: Wellingborough 7 day operation Hours: 0700 – 1730 Pay Rates: Monday £18 PAYE – £20.17 Including Holiday Pay Saturday £19 PAYE – 21.29 Including Holiday Pay Sunday £20 PAYE – £22.41 including holiday pay Must have an enhanced DBS with Adult Workforce on the DBS. We have accept DBS up to 3 years old. Must have experience of working in retirement homes. We are seeking skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our clients team in Wellingborough. You will require a Enhanced DBS to be taken further for this role however we do have other none DBS roles available. As a Sous Chef, you will assist in managing the food operation, working closely with the Head Chef and key stakeholders to deliver a consistent, compliant, and profitable department in line with all statutory requirements, company policies, and health and safety procedures. Your role will be crucial in delivering a wide variety of meetings and events. Responsibilities: Ensure consistency in the food offer throughout the hotel Participate in food ordering and stock rotation Minimize and monitor waste using internal systems Assist in managing financial budgets and targets Manage and develop team members for progression within the kitchen hierarchy Implement and inspire the team with current food trends and cooking techniques Train kitchen, F&B, and sales teams on current products and their delivery
