Wilson Recruitment is seeking a Breakdown Technician to attend and repair disabled commercial vehicles, ensuring they are quickly and safely returned to operation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles and equipment while responding to breakdowns on a 24-hour call-out basis. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and trailers. Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults. Arrange 3rd party repairs and recoveries when necessary. Attend breakdowns both at the roadside and at customer premises. Maintain vehicle safety protocols at all times, whether on-site or roadside. Work closely with the parts department to obtain required parts. Complete all job cards, service sheets, and reports accurately and on time. Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the workspace. Continuously update product knowledge through training. Candidate Requirements: Technical qualification: City & Guilds Level 3 or NVQ qualified technician. Valid drivers licence. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure and in a team. High level of computer literacy. Awareness of health and safety regulations.
