We are a well-established family run Tanker Haulage Business delivering liquid products to farms, mills & various sites around the country. We are looking for a Class 1 Tanker driver based from Cabus Commercial Park, Lancaster New Road, Cabus, Preston PR3 1AD on a rolling shift pattern of 4 on 4 off, with 3 nights out. Other shift patterns will be considered.
Requirements:
- Class 1 Licence (Cat C + E)
- Current CPC + Digital Driving Card
- Must be self-motivated with a positive attitude and work well on your own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a tanker to deliver various liquid products to customer locations.
- Ensure all safety, environmental, and compliance regulations are met during the transportation of non-hazardous liquid.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the tanker is in good working order.
- Accurately complete all required documentation, including delivery paperwork, reports and compliance paperwork.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck, reporting any mechanical issues to the fleet manager.
- Adhere to company policies, road safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Communicate effectively with the transport planning team.
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients.

Salary: £15.00/hour - £21.00/hour
We have also implemented a work performance-based bonus which has the potential of earning an additional 50p per hour subject to meeting certain criteria. A £10 daily tax-free meal allowance is payable where a daily duty of 11 hours or more is completed. Night Out payment of £26/night (tax-free).
Hourly rate is payable from start to finish.
