Degree Apprenticeship in Law Wilson Nesbitt & Ulster University
We are partnering with Ulster University to offer a Degree Apprenticeship in Law for aspiring future lawyers. The programme enables legal apprentices to study for an LLB (Hons) in Law at Ulster University while gaining professional legal experience at Wilson Nesbitt, one of Northern Ireland\’s leading independent law firms. This four-year programme, facilitated by the Department for the Economy\’s Higher Level Apprenticeship scheme, offers apprentices the opportunity to earn while they learn, gain invaluable experience, and obtain a degree without tuition fees. The programme begins in September 2025.
Programme Structure
- 4 days per week working in-office at Wilson Nesbitt
- 1 day per week studying Law at Ulster University
What You\’ll Do at Wilson Nesbitt
- Manage your own legal caseload with guidance from our team
- Work closely with solicitors and managers
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders
- Conduct document signing consultations
- Draft and proofread legal documents
- Progress cases using internal systems to meet targets
