Hotel Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
• Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
• Assist with laundry duties as required, including sorting, washing, folding, and storing linens
• Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping needs with professionalism and courtesy

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Flexibility to work shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as required
• A friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning practices is advantageous

Must have a valid driving licence and own transport due to location.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
