Are you ready to be a changemaker? Wilson Language training is growing and is looking to hire a 2nd Shift Shipping Supervisor. This position is responsible for planning and overseeing the daily fulfillment activities of the shipping team. He/she will work closely with the shipping team to meet short- and long-term fulfillment requirements. He/she will also coach and mentor their team to achieve a high volume of accuracy and efficiency to reach the SLA Goals. He/she will volunteer readily and will commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach departmental goals. Essential Job Functions Print all waves and manage daily sales orders to be distributed to the team Manages shipping software, Ship Hawk, for UPS, Fed Ex and USPS Conduct periodic spot checks of outbound orders to ensure a high level of quality control Conduct regular team meetings Work with fellow department supervisors to synergize the flow of inventory Work with fellow department supervisors to manage available resources to meet daily and weekly goals Balance team members according to needs – etc. production helpers Ensure team is staying busy and focused, adhering to the department policies Manages employees supporting development for growth creating personal goals and monitors performance. Writes and delivers annual reviews for staff. Follow and enforce safety, department and company policies Understand and display WLT’s values Other duties as assigned Skills Minimum Requirements Strong people and operational leadership capabilities and experience Strong analytical capabilities Strong organizational skills and attention to details Experience driving and facilitating productivity and operational efficiency Strong interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to lift up to 40lbs Mastery of product descriptions, item numbers, and product visual recognition Fork Truck experience required Education Or Certification High school diploma or equivalent Experience Minimum of two years in a leadership role in a shipping and/or warehouse environment. Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations. Actual pay, and allocation between base and any target discretionary bonus, will vary based on geographic location, education, work experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations.
