- Site preparation - loading and unloading, preparing tools and materials.
- General labouring - mixing mortar, concrete, plaster, measuring and marking.
- Joinery tasks - stud walls, insulation, skirting boards and door linings, installing doors, windows and flooring.
- Repairs and fixing damaged fixtures and fittings, fixing holes, basic decorating.
- Assisting with plumbing and electrical work.
- Assisting with groundworks and foundations.
- Timber frame and blockwork preparation.
- Roof work under supervision.
- Keeping sites clean and tidy.
- Assisting with snagging at completion of a project.
