Are you looking for a new and exciting role? Join our team in Slough as a Stores Assistant, playing a crucial role in the EMD Stores. The Stores Assistant role will cover various duties within EMD, and you will need to be cross trained in a number of skills to cover the wide-ranging demands of the role. The role is fast-paced and ever-evolving, and the right candidate will also be required to support the wider operation at CLC at times, so being a flexible person is important.
About the RoleAs a Stores Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Maximo administration, assisting the Uniform Stores Controller with processing all supplier deliveries, undertaking receipting of purchase orders, which will release payment to the suppliers, and dealing with Purchase Order queries that may arise.
- Fulcrum Administration, operating this system and being the central hub for the EMD operation, assisting with booking supplier deliveries into the warehouse alongside the Stores Controller.
- Assisting with stock checks reports in Central Stores.
- Annual leave entitlement of 5.6 weeks
