In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About the Role: As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere
- Conducting regular patrols and monitoring premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism
- Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns
- Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required
- Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same
- Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
- Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for:
- To hold a current DS SIA Licence
- Proven experience in a security role or a similar position
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
