Are you a customer-focused security professional with a passion for safety, emergency response, and delivering exceptional service? We are looking for a highly professional Safety & Security Ambassador to be the first point of contact for all safety, security, and emergency matters on site.

In this key role, you will combine outstanding front-of-house customer service with security expertise, ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors, clients, contractors, and colleagues. Acting as a first responder to incidents, alarms, and emergencies, you will play a vital role in maintaining operational resilience while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer care.

About the Role
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all safety, security, and emergency incidents across the site.
  • Deliver exceptional front‑of‑house and reception services, creating a positive and professional first impression for all visitors and guests.
  • Respond to first aid incidents, provide immediate assistance, and maintain first aid equipment and supplies.
  • Conduct regular security patrols, monitor access points, manage visitor credentials, and maintain effective access control procedures.
  • Investigate alarm activations, support evacuation procedures, and undertake fire safety checks, patrols, and testing activities.
  • Monitor security systems and equipment, reporting faults and ensuring operational effectiveness at all times.
  • Complete detailed incident reports, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies and data protection requirements.
  • Deputise for the Site Manager during emergency situations or business‑critical incidents, ensuring continuity of operations.

What we are looking for
  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence.
  • Current First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with people at all levels.
  • Strong customer service background with a professional, approachable, and positive attitude.
  • Experience operating access control systems and security equipment.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective when responding to emergencies and high‑pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate reports and maintain security documentation.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and carry out site patrols and other operational duties.
Desirable Criteria
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within a corporate security environment.
  • Previous experience in a customer‑facing security or concierge‑style role.
  • Experience investigating incidents and alarm activations.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
