Overview Safety and Security Ambassador — Permanent. Location: Cambridge. Hours: Full time, 4 on, 4 off, days and nights, 7am – 7pm and 7pm – 7am. Pay: £14.70 per hour. About the Role As a Safety and Security Ambassador, you will be the face of our client’s organisation, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all staff and visitors. Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all safety, security, and emergency matters on site. Deliver outstanding front of house service — greeting visitors, assisting with enquiries, and creating a positive first impression. Respond to first aid incidents, manage supplies, and support emergency procedures including fire alarms and evacuations. Conduct safety audits, patrols, and security checks to maintain compliance and protect assets. Operate access control systems, monitor alarms, and oversee critical safety equipment. Deputise for the Site Lead during emergencies, ensuring continuity of operations. Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports, and uphold professional standards at all times.
