Site Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Security Manager to lead the delivery of security services at our client's site in Pangbourne.
This is a hands-on management role responsible for protecting people, property, and assets while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, safety, and operational excellence.
You will lead a security team, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement across all site security functions.
About the Role
- Lead and manage all on-site security operations to ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, property and assets.
- Supervise, motivate, and develop security personnel through coaching, training and performance management.
- Develop, implement, and review site-specific security plans, procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and maintain the effectiveness of security systems, controls and technologies.
- Investigate security incidents, identify trends and implement preventative measures to reduce risk.
- Coordinate and maintain effective partnerships with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
- Plan, deliver, and oversee emergency response exercises, drills and incident management procedures.
- Conduct regular security audits, inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Produce accurate reports, records and documentation relating to security activities and incidents.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What we are looking for
- Valid SIA Security Guarding Licence (including First Aid qualification).
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (including First Aid qualification).
- Valid SIA CCTV Licence (including First Aid qualification).
- Proven experience in a security management or security leadership role.
- Strong experience managing security operations within a corporate, commercial, industrial or similar environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading, developing and managing teams in high-pressure situations.
- Strong knowledge of security risk assessment, incident management and mitigation strategies.
- Experience developing and implementing security policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with external agencies, including law enforcement and emergency services.
Desirable
- Relevant qualification in Security Management or a related discipline.
- Experience of managing security services within large-scale or multi-functional facilities.
- Knowledge of current security technologies, systems, and industry best practice.
