Working Hours: 9 days across two weeks (Monday to Friday on week 1 & Monday to Thursday on week 2)
About the Role
As a Planning and Co-ordination Lead, you will play a key role in the efficient delivery of on-site logistics at Hinkley Point C. You will be methodical and have a strategic approach to delivering complex deployments and operational planning. You will be accountable for the H&S and seamless operation of your areas of responsibility; however, you will have a team of experienced professionals to manage daily tasks. Your day-to-day job will focus on the bigger picture, developing and rehearsing contingency plans for logistics capacity management. You will have strong communication skills and a natural ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Wilson James Planning & Coordination team, which currently consists of scheduling, planning and data analysis
- Collaborate closely with the NNB Logistics to agree on a feasible plan, considering the logistics capacity constraints, short and long term
- Advise on mitigations and resource requirements to meet site demand
- Work with all on-site contractors to ensure logistics planning is coherent for all parties, including automated data feeds to the control tower
- Collaboration with the Wilson James Business Intelligence team to develop and productise the Wilson James Logistics Digital product, seeking automation throughout the supply chain
- Develop logistics CI plan to underwrite robust logistics delivery of the construction programme, enhancing visibility and digital decision making through the Wilson James control tower and business cloud.
- Responsible for elements of KPI reporting
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Highly experienced in Logistics planning and operations, especially for Major Capital projects, in the construction industry, or other relevant industries
- Strong data analytics and data management, inquisitive with an ability to identify patterns and constraints
- Excellent IT skills with a working knowledge of all MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Project)
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Analytics Tools
Desirable
- Experience using Power BI, Splunk or DOMO
- Deep understanding of the Integrated Planning process
- CITB HS&E Managers and Professionals certificate (MAPS) – must be obtained before the start date
- Construction Logistics Expertise: Strong background in logistics operations, providing valuable insights into operational requirements
- A Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline
- A working knowledge of: Primavera P6 (Scheduling), Supplier Collaboration, Logistics or Supply Chain Planning tools, WMS (Manhattan), DMS (Fulcrum), Distribution operations and telematics
Site Specific Information
You must be able to provide a 3-year work/unemployment/education history required for the vetting process in line with HPC protocols. You must be able to obtain the HPC pass. The site is located remotely and a bus journey of approximately 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
NOTE: Due to the festive shutdown, interviews for this role will be held in January 2026.
