We are looking for an Emergency Response Officer to join us at our client site in South West London. Our site is a museum dedicated to applied arts and specialises in objects by and for children. As an Emergency Response Officer you will be an initial point of contact for all daily operational fire, health and safety and security related matters across the site, making an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.
A typical day in the life as an Emergency Response Officer:
- Work closely with the Contract Manager (East), Site Lead and Customer representative, manage and deliver the Customer's requirements.
- Be an initial point of contact for all daily operational fire safety, health and safety and security related matters across the site.
- Providing immediate response to first aid emergencies within the site and respond to and safety perform lift rescue as requested.
- Delivering health and safety toolbox talks with team members as directed by the Site Lead effectively.
- Carry out incident assessments and dynamic risk assessments.
What are we looking for?
- An ability and desire to acquire an excellent working knowledge of the building.
- Able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- An ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure.
- Proven reliability including an ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance.
- A flexibility to work shifts including weekends.
- SIA Licence (DS).
- CCTV would be preferred but not essential.
