Role Details
Shift Pattern: 18:00 – 06:00 4 on 5 off, 5 on 4 off, 5 on 5 off
As a Logistics Chargehand for Compounds Routine & Reactive, you will be responsible for ensuring that works are completed and documentation is recorded accurately and timely.
You will report to the Logistics Manager Routine and Reactive. Your main role will be to supervise operatives, ensuring they are working safely in line with RAMS, DABS and HPC processes.
You will be responsible for delivering familiarisation and competency training, and you will keep records for audit purposes. You will ensure that all designated working areas are set up correctly, and kept organised, clean, tidy and free from obstruction. You will carry out quality checks on works carried out by the operatives and provide support from an operational perspective when required. This will be a very busy role with conflicting priorities, and we are looking for someone who wants to join us who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to work with blue and white collar workforce. You will be part of a great team, who are supportive and friendly.

Essential Skills And Qualifications
- CITB Supervisory H&S test (must be completed before start date)
- Previous Supervisory Experience
- SSSTS or working towards
- Good IT skills
Site Specific Information
- You must be able to provide a 3-year work/ unemployment/ education history and required vetting process in line with HPC protocols.
- You must be able to obtain the HPC pass.
- The site is located remotely and a bus journey of 45 minutes each way is required to gain access.
