Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of up to 8 logistics operatives
- Complete daily briefings before work starts; ensure operatives understand tasks and any new hazards
- Inform all operatives of changes related to site duties or requirements; sign off POWRA where required
- Supervise HR building site setups
- Supervise housekeeping
- Supervise the movement of materials from off-loading points to HR work areas
- Supervise waste segregation and removal within the building
- Manage/record/replenish/maintain all fire points, consumables, and signage
- Ensure 100% photo evidence is taken of materials delivered to HR work areas; hand to fleet team supervisor by end of shift
- Obtain signature from HR supervisor/manager on each delivery note; deliver notes to fleet supervisor by end of shift
- During cold temperatures, supervise logistics winterisation processes in HR areas
- Ensure daily checks sheets are completed; report defects and keep records for audit
- Deliver familiarisation/competency training and keep records for audit/data purposes
- Ensure all plant/equipment are maintained and records kept for audit
- Store plant/equipment correctly and secure keys when not in use
- Ensure plant/equipment are fit for use and secure when not in use
- Provide TBTs to operatives weekly and keep records
- Any additional reasonable duties requested by the line manager
- Ensure others do not task your team without authority
- Adhere to HPC code of conduct
- Coordinate and implement fire and emergency arrangements throughout the building

Essential
- Experience working in a centralised construction logistics team
- Knowledge of material coordination processes
- Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Ability to deliver succinct verbal and written reports
- High standard of personal presentation
- Reliability and strong time management for team effectiveness
- Demonstrated supervisory experience
- Understanding of equality and diversity principles relating to visitors and employees
- Interest in and commitment to Wilson James work for its clients
- Previous supervisory experience
- SSSTS (or working towards)
- CITB Supervisor H&S test (must be completed before start date)
- Basic IT skills
