Overview
Location: Liverpool Airport
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours a week. Please be aware of the shift times as they can start as early as 03:00 am and the latest finish can be around 23:45 pm. Shift patterns will be 5 on 2 off / 5 on 3 off or we have weekend only work (Friday - Monday earlies). Please note: if you have a 03:00 am start there is no public transport available.
Pay: £12.60 - £13.30 per hour

The Role
As a Security Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and smooth transition of passengers, staff, and airport personnel through Liverpool Airport. From screening passengers and baggage to controlling access and patrolling the airside and landside, your work will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and reputation of the airport. This isn't just a security role – it's a people-focused position where you'll interact with passengers from all walks of life, providing guidance and support to make their journey seamless and safe. - Screen Passengers & Baggage: Ensure everyone and everything is safe with thorough checks.
- Control Access: Monitor who enters secure areas, verifying IDs and travel documents.
- Patrol the Airport: Keep airside and landside areas safe through regular foot patrols.
- Guide Passengers: Help travelers navigate security, offering advice on baggage and electronics.
- Provide Top-Notch Service: Assist passengers and resolve queries with professionalism and care.
- Stay Alert & Compliant: Follow security protocols and accurately record any incidents.
