We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Front of House Security Officer at one of our clients based in Reading. You will work at a well‑established estate service and investment firm who act with consideration for others' ideas and share information openly to inspire trust and encourage collaboration. You'll play a key role in upholding our client's security standards while representing the company with professionalism and pride — delivering top‑tier service and maintaining a strong corporate image in line with the guidance of our security management team.

About the Role

  • Be the welcoming face of the site — always polite, professional, and friendly when interacting with the public, clients, and colleagues.
  • Take ownership of site security by carrying out regular patrols, staying connected through radio communication, and keeping a sharp eye out for anything unusual.
  • Deliver exceptional service through Front of House and reception duties, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and positive experience.
  • Protect the premises by controlling access and preventing unauthorised entry with confidence and professionalism.
  • Stay proactive — report any damage or vulnerabilities that could affect site safety or security.
  • Keep alert and responsive to all on‑site activity, taking swift, decisive action to minimise risk and maintain a safe environment.
  • Act fast when it matters — report suspicious behaviour or vehicles immediately to the Security Control Room, Security Manager, or Police when required.
  • Respond to fire alarms and emergencies in line with site procedures, demonstrating calm, clear thinking under pressure.
