We are looking for an Event Security Officer to join at one of our clients based in the Sunbury area. You will be working as part of a brilliant security team at one of the world's largest integrated oil and gas companies who are committed to their values of safety, respect, excellence, courage and one team. As an Event Security Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

  • The Role – Full Time, 50 hours per week, 5 days a week, 0700-1700 however if working an event the hours start at 1200 – 2200 (depending on event times)

A typical day in the life as an Event Security Officer:

  • Ensuring the building is safe and protected by carrying out both internal and external patrols, actively preventing any security concerns.
  • Checking, and verifying entry passes, monitoring of alarm systems, access control and investigating any suspicious activity or behaviour.
  • Interaction with customers, meeting and greeting both staff and visitors; listening to requests, taking an interest in what they have to say, show empathy, and be prepared to answer questions and follow up where you feel you might be able to help.
  • Assist with scheduled events, responsible for the safety of attendees and staff, managing crowds, screening of guests and managing incidents that may occur.
