In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring that security protocols are upheld at all times. About The Role
As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional and authoritative presence, meeting and greeting our customers and colleagues.
  • Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
  • Control access points, check identification, and ensure only authorised personnel enter the premises.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.

What We Are Looking For

  • To hold a current DS SIA Licence
  • Proven experience in a security role or a similar position.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities.
  • Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
