Permanent – Location: South West London – Kensington
Hours: 4 on, 4 off – 19:00 to 07:00
Pay: £14.58 per hour
Responsibilities
- Actively and positively supervise a team of security officers, ensuring duties comply with procedures and policies and with legal, company, and contractual obligations (e.g., Data Protection Act, Health and Safety at Work Act).
- Supervise conduct and ensure personnel are briefed, trained to standard, and subject to regular performance monitoring.
- Provide first-line supervisory security response to incidents in public and back-of-house areas and respond to alarm activations on access control systems, case alarms, and perimeter activations.
- Check for health and safety and security issues, escalate as needed, and report faults appropriately.
- Ensure officers sign in/out correctly, are dressed in required uniform, have correct equipment, and manage daily issue of keys and radios.
- Coordinate daily rotation of shifts, perimeter and bag search teams, conduct regular security post visits, monitor patrols, and arrange cover for sickness or other absences.
