Overview
Permanent position located in Cambridge. Full time hours: 4 on, 4 off, days and nights, 7am β 7pm and 7pm β 7am. Pay: Β£14.70 per hour.
About the Role
As a Safety and Security Ambassador, you will be the face of our clientβs organisation, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and professional environment for all staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all safety, security, and emergency matters on site.
- Deliver outstanding front of house service β greeting visitors, assisting with enquiries, and creating a positive first impression.
- Respond to first aid incidents, manage supplies, and support emergency procedures including fire alarms and evacuations.
- Conduct safety audits, patrols, and security checks to maintain compliance and protect assets.
- Operate access control systems, monitor alarms, and oversee critical safety equipment.
- Deputise for the Site Lead during emergencies, ensuring continuity of operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and incident reports, and uphold professional standards at all times.

What We Are Looking For
- A valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor).
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A professional appearance and positive demeanour.
- Experience with access control equipment.
- Able to meet the requirements of the role, including remaining in a position for extended periods and occasionally handling physically demanding activities.
