We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality, commercially focused HR service.

Working closely with site leadership and key stakeholders, you will provide expert HR support, guidance and challenge across all areas of the employee lifecycle.

About the Role

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to managers and employees on a wide range of people matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management and performance issues through to resolution.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end recruitment activities, supporting hiring managers with attraction, selection, onboarding and workforce planning.
  • Develop and implement employee retention and engagement strategies to improve workforce stability and employee experience.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, consultations and changes to working practices.
  • Maintain positive relationships with trade unions and employee representatives, supporting effective communication and partnership working.
  • Analyse and present HR data and management information to identify trends, mitigate risks and support business decision‑making.
  • Deliver training, coaching and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures and people management best practice.

  • What we are looking for
  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role with responsibility for managing complex employee relations cases.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear and practical advice.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities within a busy operational environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet competing deadlines.
  • Experience using HR systems, producing reports and analysing HR data to support decision‑making.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent HR experience) and a commitment to continuous professional development.
