We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of security within a fast-paced, large-scale construction environment. This is a critical role responsible for safeguarding personnel, assets, and sensitive information while ensuring security measures are seamlessly integrated into daily site operations. You will work closely with project, logistics, and health & safety teams to deliver a secure, efficient, and compliant working environment throughout all phases of the build.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement comprehensive site security strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Manage site access control, including personnel screening and vehicle entry systems
  • Oversee perimeter security, CCTV, and monitoring systems to ensure full site coverage
  • Align security measures with construction phases, evolving risks, and site changes
  • Collaborate with project and H&S teams to embed security into daily operations without impacting productivity
  • Lead incident response planning, investigations, and reporting of all security breaches
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address emerging threats
  • Coordinate emergency planning, including evacuation procedures and liaison with external agencies

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in a Security Manager role within construction, infrastructure, or large-scale projects
  • Strong knowledge of physical security systems (CCTV, access control, perimeter protection)
  • Experience in risk management, incident response, and emergency planning
  • Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, high-risk environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong leadership capability with a proactive and adaptable approach
  • Qualification in Security Management, Risk Management, or a related discipline
