Join Our Team as a Reception Badging Officer. We're looking for a professional, customer-focused Front of House Security Officer to join our onsite team at Visa in Basingstoke. This is more than a traditional security role β€” you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, delivering a seamless, welcoming experience while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.

About the Role

  • Deliver a professional front-of-house service, welcoming visitors and managing enquiries.
  • Oversee access control, visitor management, and badging processes.
  • Monitor security systems and respond promptly to alarms and incidents.
  • Conduct patrols and support investigations, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Maintain detailed records, audit trails, and compliance documentation.
  • Support emergency response procedures in line with site protocols.
  • Provide administrative support, ensuring all security data and logs are up to date.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.

You will be responsible for

  • Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere.
  • Conducting regular patrols and monitoring premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism.
  • Monitoring access points, CCTV, and handling security procedures.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required.
  • Adapting to different client sites – no two days are the same.
  • Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns.
  • Working as part of a diverse, supportive team.
