Permanent Location: Sunbury Hours: Full time, 4 on, 4 off, days - 07:00 - 19:00 and nights 19:00 - 07:00 Pay: £20.24 ph

We are seeking a professional and proactive Duty Security Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a high-profile security contract, ensuring exceptional service delivery, regulatory compliance and effective incident management.

About the Role
- Lead, manage and motivate the security team to deliver a consistently high standard of service across the site.
- Ensure all security operations comply with legal, contractual and company requirements, including health & safety and data protection obligations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational security matters, maintaining effective communication with client representatives and stakeholders.
- Manage team rostering, resource allocation and absence cover to ensure all security posts and patrols remain fully staffed.
- Oversee the control room function and ensure all security systems and technology remain operational and effective.
- Lead security responses to incidents, emergencies, evacuations and fire alarms, carrying out dynamic risk assessments and liaising with emergency services when required.
- Conduct performance management activities including team meetings, investigations, appraisals, welfare reviews and staff development programmes.
- Review and improve security procedures, risk assessments, assignment instructions and operating processes to support continuous improvement.

What we are looking for
The successful candidate will be a confident and decisive leader who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional security standards.
You will be highly organised, customer-focused and committed to creating a safe, secure and professional environment for our client and colleagues.
- Proven experience in a security management or supervisory role within a corporate, commercial or high-profile environment.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience managing incidents, emergencies and operational security responses in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage with clients, contractors and senior management.
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Strong organisational skills with experience managing rosters, staffing levels and operational planning.
- Experience conducting performance management activities, including appraisals, investigations and employee development.
- Valid SIA Licence, with the ability to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity and customer service.
