The Role
As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and smooth transition of passengers, staff, and airport personnel through Liverpool Airport. This role involves:
- Screening passengers and baggage
- Controlling access
- Patrolling airside and landside areas
- Interacting with passengers to provide guidance and support
You will be trained to handle emergencies, respond quickly under pressure, and maintain high standards of safety and service.
Responsibilities
- Screen Passengers & Baggage: Ensure everyone and everything is safe with thorough checks.
- Control Access: Monitor who enters secure areas, verifying IDs and travel documents.
- Patrol the Airport: Keep airside and landside areas safe through regular foot patrols.
- Guide Passengers: Help travelers navigate security, offering advice on baggage and electronics.
- Provide Top-Notch Service: Assist passengers and resolve queries with professionalism and care.
- Stay Alert & Compliant: Follow security protocols and accurately record any incidents.
- Respond to Emergencies: Act quickly to ensure safety during unexpected situations.
