Join Our Team as a Post Room Assistant
About The Role
As a Post Room Assistant you will be responsible for:
Join our small, dynamic team in a busy post room, where you’ll handle daily dispatches, prepare packages, and coordinate courier services. You’ll learn all delivery processes, provide accurate tracking information, and work closely with UKAEA and on‑site tenants to ensure consistent shipping procedures. The role includes processing and recording deliveries both electronically and in hard copy, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and supporting the Import/Export Officer as needed.
Site Based Requirements
- To be accountable for all shipments made via courier companies or Royal Mail
- To ensure accuracy in dispatches and internally making sure that there is a clear audit trail for all deliveries.
- Being able to achieve deadlines when shipping the goods and have a clear understanding of the requirements.
