As an Account Executive, you will join a growing sales team and have a direct impact on the company’s growth and success. You will be responsible for full 360 sales, from lead generation to closing. You will also work cross-functionally with the Marketing, Customer Success and Product teams.
Our client operates in the B2B space, helping SMEs and Mid-Market companies improve efficiencies and save time by bringing automation and real-time insights on their SaaS platform to a sector dominated by outdated systems.
About the role:- End-to-end sales, from lead generation, prospecting and demoing to negotiation and closing, engaging with C-Suite and key stakeholders.
- Develop and manage your pipeline (medium to large businesses) through email, cold-calling, LinkedIn, exhibitions, etc.
- Adopt a consultative sales approach, understanding your prospects’ business needs and tailoring your solution using our client’s platform.
- Develop and nurture long-standing relationships with key clients both pre and post-sale, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless onboarding and outstanding customer experience as well as provide feedback to inform the product roadmap.
- Work closely with the senior management team to optimise the sales function and sales strategies, identify growth opportunities and refine ICPs.
- Provide reports and analysis on sales performance and pipeline, with associated revenue forecasts.
- Keep up to date with market insights, trends and competitors to help position the business effectively.
- Record and track leads and deals using Hubspot.
- Mentor junior team members as the business grows.
- Several years sales experience managing the full, end-to-end process in subscription-based sales to SMEs and Mid-Market companies.
- Recent experience in a B2B SaaS or FinTech startup/scale-up.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
- You have sold SaaS products and understand subscription models and customer retention practices.
- Experienced in tailoring SaaS offerings according to clients’ specific needs.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build rapport quickly.
- You are a driven and ambitious individual, looking to smash targets and are happy to share your experience with junior team members.
- Previous remote working experience with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise sales opportunities.
- Familiar with using a CRM, preferably Hubspot.
- You are motivated to drive your professional development with a business that will support you and are keen to contribute ideas to help scale the organisation.
- Base salary £45k - £50k + £40K OTE + bonus.
