About Us
We are a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Bangor. We manage the IT infrastructure for a variety of fantastic clients, and we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier, friendly technical support. We are not a massive, faceless corporation where you will just be a ticket-closer. We are a small, collaborative team where your contributions have an immediate impact, and we actively support each other to succeed. We are also finding practical ways to embrace AI to improve our workflows and cloud computing solutions. If you are a tech enthusiast who enjoys exploring new tools like Microsoft Copilot and automation, you will fit right in.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive IT Support Engineer to join our team. You will be the friendly face (and voice) of our company, providing exceptional help desk support and helping clients navigate their technical issues. You will have autonomy over your day-to-day work, backed by a supportive team. We will ensure you are fully brought up to speed on our clients and systems, but we love people who naturally take the initiative to solve problems and improve processes.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Taking ownership of technical issues via our ticketing system, seeing them through from logging to resolution.
- Utilising Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools to proactively support and maintain client endpoints.
- Providing brilliant, friendly telephone support.
- Managing and supporting Microsoft 365 environments, Intune, and a variety of other cloud-based systems.
- Acting as an ambassador for our company, ensuring every client feels valued and supported.
- Visiting client sites when hands-on support or hardware deployment is required.
- Helping to roll out practical AI tools (like Microsoft Copilot) and testing automations to make our clients (and our own team) more efficient.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience: At least 4 years of proven experience in an IT Support role. An MSP background is a massive bonus, as is the ability to confidently manage multiple client environments from day one.
- Tech Stack: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Intune, ticketing systems, and RMM tools.
- Networking: Solid understanding of core networking principles, including DHCP, DNS, and general connectivity troubleshooting.
- Communication: Brilliant phone manner. You need to be confident, friendly, and capable of explaining technical concepts without the jargon.
- Mobility: A clean driving license and access to your own vehicle for travel to client sites.
- Attitude: Proactive and accountable. We value people who take ownership of their tickets and collaborate to solve complex issues.
- Continuous Learner: An interest in modern IT trends and a willingness to explore how automation and AI can be practically applied in an MSP environment.
Why Join Us?
- Health Insurance: Health coverage to keep you at your best.
- Work-Life Balance: Standard Monday-to-Friday business hours with no on-call rotas, plus a culture that strictly respects your downtime.
- Stress-Free Location: Our Bangor office offers an easy, against-the-traffic commute from Belfast, and free parking right outside the door.
- Real Impact: No red tape. Your ideas for improving our tech stack or processes will always be heard and genuinely considered.
- Equipped for the Job: Mileage allowance provided for any required travel to client sites.
How to Apply:
If you are an IT professional looking to join a company that values your expertise and supports your growth, we want to hear from you. Please apply directly via LinkedIn or send your CV and a quick note about why you are a great fit.
