A senior regional leadership role with a well-established, design-led manufacturer operating across bathroom products and adjacent categories within the UK construction, trade and social housing sectors. Following a strategic restructure, the business has combined Northern England and Scotland into one high-value region. This creates a critical leadership opportunity to take ownership of a sizeable territory with strong existing revenues and clear headroom for growth.

The successful candidate will lead a well-established team, manage key customer relationships, and drive a specification-led growth agenda across social housing, local authorities, contractors, merchants and developers.

The Business

  • Market-leading brand with strong heritage and high awareness in the bathroom products space
  • Broad product portfolio spanning core bathroom solutions and complementary categories
  • Established routes to market across merchants, retail and specification channels
  • Strong reputation for product quality, reliability and service
  • Backed by a financially robust, growth-oriented parent group
  • Clear strategic focus on sustainability, innovation and energy efficiency

The Role

Reporting into senior UK leadership, this is a pure leadership role with full regional accountability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own regional sales performance, revenue growth and margin delivery
  • Lead, coach and develop a field-based sales team (circa 6 reports)
  • Drive specification activity across social housing, refurbishment, adaptations and new build
  • Build senior-level relationships with housing associations, local authorities, contractors and merchant groups
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with national accounts, marketing and product teams
  • Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline management and market intelligence
  • Identify opportunities for regional expansion and structural optimisation

This is not a maintenance role — the expectation is to accelerate growth and increase market share through a more structured, strategic approach.

The Region

  • Covers Northern England and Scotland
  • Represents a significant proportion of UK revenues
  • Strong historic performance in Scotland, with further upside in Northern England
  • Active pipeline growth driven by specification and framework opportunities
  • High exposure to social housing, local authority frameworks and refurbishment programmes

Candidate Profile

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a Regional Sales Manager or senior field sales leadership role
  • Strong track record managing and developing field-based teams
  • Experience selling into social housing, local authorities, contractors or merchants
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to manage a complex, multi-channel region
  • Credibility to operate at senior stakeholder level
  • Living within the North of England

Highly desirable:

  • Background in bathrooms, KBB, heating, building products or adjacent specification-led categories
  • Experience influencing specification and driving demand upstream
  • Exposure to both contract and trade channels

This role requires a leader first and foremost — individuals stepping up without prior team leadership experience will not be suitable.

Why Join?

  • Leadership role within a market-leading, high-growth business
  • Large, high-value region with genuine autonomy and influence
  • Strong product proposition aligned to sustainability and regulatory trends
  • Backing of a well-capitalised, ambitious group
  • Opportunity to shape regional strategy and team structure
  • Clear progression potential as the business continues to evolve

Package

  • Competitive Basic salary
  • Bonus up to 30% (paid quarterly)
  • Company car (EV)
  • Comprehensive benefits package

This is a high-impact regional leadership role suited to a commercially driven sales leader who can balance team leadership, strategic account development and specification growth. It offers the chance to take ownership of a critical region within a market-leading business and play a key role in its next phase of growth.

This assignment is being led by Jonny Pegler and Katy Eaton. To apply please send your CV to CV@wilsonbrook.com. All applications will receive a response, but only suitable candidates will be spoken to.
