Sector: Maritime (shore-based) – global coverage across Middle East, APAC, US

What You’ll Be Doing
- Recruiting into an international market (Middle East, US, APAC)
- Placing technical and commercial professionals (Ship Managers, Superintendents, QHSE, Brokers)
- Working retained and exclusive business 95% of the time
- Using SourceWhale, Bullhorn, Market Mapper and LinkedIn Recruiter – one of the best tech-stacks we\’ve seen in a long time.
- Building long-term client partnerships (every CV sent is pre-vetted and results in an interview 99% of the time)
- Collaborating with a collective-minded team that passes work around rather than hoards it
What You’ll Need
- 1–3 years in recruitment (any sector) – maritime experience is a big bonus, but not essential
- Confidence picking up the phone and having proper consultative conversations
- The drive to build your own market with mentoring and tools provided – we’ll teach you the sector, not how to send a CV
- A commercial mindset – this is a business-winning environment, not just account maintenance
Commission & Progression
Transparent grading system from Day 1 with regular increases
Bill £30k+ in a quarter? You’ll earn 20% commission
Bill 40k+ in a quarter? You\’ll get 25% of everything!
Average fees sit around £12k – it stacks up fast
Office Setup
Based in a smart Southampton city centre space
5 days in office during probation (with flexibility)
After that – 4 days a week, with trust and autonomy baked in
