A genuine opportunity to take over warm, live desks in a recruitment business that has quietly grown from £0 to £30m turnover in just seven years - and is now gearing up for its next phase of growth.
We're working with one of the South East's fastest-growing construction recruitment businesses, based in Central Maidstone, who are now hiring three Principal Consultants as part of their long-term succession planning. The good thing for you is that they are open to high-performing recruiters from any sector; so if you know how to build relationships, win business and bill well – you'll fit right in here as the mentality is "if you can recruit, you can recruit in any sector".
This is a business that has grown quickly, but more importantly, grown properly. The leadership team have spent the past year strengthening the structure - introducing mid-level management, improving PSL agreements, focussing on staff retention and hiring people who will improve the business.
It's a hard-working, ambitious and energetic office, but one that also enjoys itself. Think Friday pub at 4pm, team incentives, and a summer conference in Spain this year.
They have three different desks on offer, all at Principal Consultant level with a clear pathway to senior leadership and all desks offer a different project. Two are currently billing heavily, with the other being a sleeping giant that has billed £400k previously.
To be right for this one, you'll need:
- 3+ years recruitment experience
- A track record of £200k+ annual billings
- Ambition to progress into leadership
This environment suits recruiters who are confident, resilient and able to build strong relationships with demanding clients.
Commission structure:
- 22.5% above £4k monthly billing
- 25% above £15k monthly billing
- 35% above £35k monthly billing
Top billers in the business have produced £500k+ desks. Realistic earnings potential sits around £140k–£170k+ for high performers. The business is primarily office-based, but operates a flexible, adult approach when needed.
If you're a proven biller looking for the next step - whether that's a stronger desk, a leadership pathway, or a more ambitious environment - this could be worth a conversation. Drop me a message, send over a CV, or just reach out for a confidential chat. Every application will receive a response.
