We are working with an award-winning event management and venue find company, and we’re looking for an Event Manager to join their team!

As the Event Manager, you will be focusing on one of their key accounts who are a large established and well-known organisation within the retail/consumer industry. You will be producing the end-to-end delivery of your events that are internal corporate exhibitions/conferences.

In terms of the type of events, these vary from small scale 200/250 attendees up to 2000/2500 attendees on their largest events. We are looking for individuals who can handle multiple projects at one time and are used to a fast-paced environment. The events which you will produce are based mainly around the Midlands; however, other areas of the UK are also included.

You will have a strong understanding of how to produce an event from initial concept through to post completion, working alongside various internal and external stakeholders ensuring each event is run smoothly and to the highest of standards that live and breathe the company’s values.

As the Event Manager, you will be working along a team of 4 on this account. You will oversee all operational aspects of each event including logistics, venue liaison, budgetary control, and on-site day delivery of each event. It’s important that you have a couple of years’ experience producing a variety of corporate events (budgets of up to £700,000) and a great understanding of the task at hand.

In terms of the agency you will be working on behalf, they are well known and acknowledged for their ethos and the standard of work which they produce. There are fantastic growth and development opportunities within the business, making it a fantastic agency to be joining!

Their head office is based in Swindon, working 4 days in the office with 1 day WFH during normal office hours, so please ensure you live within a commutable distance before applying for this role. Due to the nature of this role, there will be some evening and weekend work required when the events are live.

From a salary perspective, you’re looking at between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on your experience. There’s also a long list of corporate benefits included; they have built a great culture and love to look after their team!
