I am looking for a Delegate Dynamic Director to join our client who is a well-established event production company! It’s a fantastically unique job title, but you could also call it a delegate technology director, or delegate experience director to give you an idea.

This is a maternity cover contract role ideally starting as soon as possible for the right candidate. You will receive a full handover from the current postholder before their departure. The fixed-term contract runs until December 2026 with the potential for redeployment within the business where opportunities arise.

We’re looking for someone who is an absolute whizz with Cvent. You understand it’s application, how to use it to its maximum potential. We’re not expecting you to be an absolute technical guru on every element – but certainly someone who can map everything out and know how to build platforms from scratch.

You’re going to look after the entire delegate registration from initial speccing out to post event feedback collation. You have a small team underneath you so it is really important that we find someone with team management and leadership experience and can demonstrate this effectively. You will be someone who does not mind rolling their sleeves up also as this is a very hands-on role!

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the value of delivering an exceptional delegate experience. You will be expected to bring forward ideas for improvement and introduce innovative, forward-thinking approaches to how we work. As a member of the executive board, you will play a key strategic role – overseeing operational responsibilities, managing budgets, producing regular reports and conducting annual cost reviews. You will also be empowered to make high-level decisions that shape the direction and success of the department.

You’re coming into a great place. The company culture values elegance, trust, collaboration, innovation, and calm. You\’ll be given autonomy, leadership opportunities, and a structured development plan from day one. You’ll be given a clear pathway of how to achieve the next salary step for you, as well as upskilling your production repertoire.

There is a really progressive approach to flexible working here, you’ll spend a minimum of 1 day a week in the office (ideally a Wednesday), which is based in Wiltshire.

From a salary perspective, it will largely depend on your experience, but you can expect it to be between £60,000 and £70,000. There are numerous other corporate benefits beyond the base salary as well!

If you are interested or want to know more, call me, send me a message, DM (Sammy Barrett on LinkedIn) or e-mail – whatever is easiest. We encourage anyone who feels they are suitable to apply; we love seeing diversity in our applicants. We use specialist technology to ensure there is no gender bias in our adverts.

Every applicant will receive a response. We sometimes make mistakes and miss things from CVs, so you will be given an opportunity to receive feedback and discuss the role in more detail if you feel necessary.
