You like being busy. Properly busy. The kind where the plan changes by 10am and you quietly get everything sorted anyway.
That’s important here, because this isn’t really a traditional recruitment job.
You’ll be part of the team responsible for finding and organising the freelance people behind major automotive events - from drivers and trainers to product experts and brand ambassadors. The department handles around 6,000–7,000 freelance bookings in an average year, and that volume is continuing to grow.
Some bookings are straightforward. Others might involve dozens of people working across a six-week tour.
And sometimes something lands today that needs sorting for Wednesday.
That’s probably the biggest thing to understand about this job.
You need to be someone who can look at ten things, work out which three actually matter right now, and get on with them without needing somebody constantly checking where you’re up to.
There’s also a lot of admin.
Spreadsheets. Booking forms. CRM updates. Licence checks. Right-to-work documents. Chasing people. Updating information. Checking it again.
If repetitive admin makes you want to throw your laptop out of a window, this probably isn’t for you.
But if you quite like the satisfaction of having lots going on and knowing everything is organised because you’ve organised it, you could be very good at this.
