We are seeking a proactive and reliable Finance Manager to join a small, friendly, and growing team in a part-time (30 hours/week) hybrid role. Reporting directly to the Director and managing an Accounts Assistant, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations across several business entities. From monthly management reporting and cash flow monitoring to budgeting, compliance, and process improvement, you will play a key role in maintaining financial health and supporting strategic growth.
- Producing monthly management accounts, P&Ls, and balance sheets
- Overseeing payroll, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax compliance
- Leading and supporting a small finance team
- Ensuring compliance with UK financial and employment regulations
- Managing foreign currency accounts and transactions (EUR, USD) and supplier payments would be an advantage
- Liaising with external accountants and regulatory bodies as required
AAT qualified or part/fully qualified in ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent)
At least 3 years' experience in a finance role, ideally in a small business setting
Advanced Excel skills
Experience with Euro and Dollar accounts and transactions is a strong advantage.
