Our client, a global leader in automation solutions, is looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to join their onsite team at a major customer site in Coalville. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role in a highly automated, cutting-edge environment.
Key responsibilities for the Senior Maintenance Engineer:
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a small team of maintenance technicians
- Act as the main liaison between the customer and the engineering team during your shift
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance (inspections, adjustments, spare part replacements)
- Diagnose and resolve faults through corrective maintenance
- Document activities and faults using the CMMS system
- Manage shift handovers and compile detailed shift reports
- Support spare parts logistics and contribute to warehouse organisation
