The Role
We are seeking a senior, results-driven sales leader to drive growth across Automation and Products Equipment (P E). You will lead a team of 10+, own the full sales lifecycle, and deliver large, complex projects while building a strong, sustainable pipeline aligned to regional strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team
- Deliver order intake, revenue and margin targets
- Own the bid/no-bid process and full sales lifecycle
- Build strategic key accounts and drive new business opportunities
- Maintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities
- Recruit, develop and performance-manage top talent
- Ensure strong sales governance, forecasting and reporting
Must-Have Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a regional/national sales role (team size 10+)
- Intralogistics experience at a similar scale and complexity (current or within the last 5 years)
- Demonstrated success in selling complex projects £35m+ (ideally £75m+) within the last 3 years
- Strong track record of building, developing and leading high-performing teams
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of complex, solution-based sales
- Commercially astute with strong focus on revenue, margin and risk management
- Highly driven with ambition to progress into future leadership roles
Skills, Knowledge Experience
- Degree-level qualification
- Strong intralogistics/automation industry experience
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic and analytical mindset
- Ability to deliver results within defined timescales
- Strong financial awareness of project performance
- Solid understanding of automation technologies and their application across industries
- Previous line management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce)
- Full UK driving licence required (company car provided)
