Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Type: Full Time Permanent

Salary: £59,740 per annum

Shifts: Suez Shift (12 hr shifts days & nights)

Were looking for a Resident Maintenance Engineer to join an on-site team at a major automated warehouse in Thatcham. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the reliability and performance of a fast-paced intralogistics operation.

About the Role :

Responsible for delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within agreed timeframes

Maintain and repair fast-flowing material-handling equipment

Log all daily activities accurately using the agreed method

Work closely with the customer and fully engage in day-to-day operations

Ensure compliance with site CMMS, quality, environmental, and H&S procedures

Identify root causes of equipment issues and work proactively with operations

Requirements :

ONC/HNC/BTEC/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

PLC knowledge/experience beneficial

Experience with automated materials-handling equipment

Ability to work at height
