We are recruiting an IT WMS Technician for our client, a global leader in automation and logistics. This is a hands-on, on-site role supporting advanced warehouse IT systems in a dynamic distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and support Warehouse Management & Material Flow Systems
- Perform system monitoring, testing, and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams and site staff to ensure uptime
- Support software changes, updates, and releases
- Work flexible shifts, including occasional weekends and evenings
What You’ll Need:
- BSc/HND/HNC in Computer Science or related field
- Strong SQL and Linux skills
- Experience of supporting automated materials handling systems
- Ability to identify and resolve issues within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Flow Systems (MFS)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Java/PLC experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to shift patterns
