About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in warehouse automation and logistics solutions, for a Senior Sales Manager to join their UK Logistics Solutions team. This role focuses on leading the sales process for complex automation projects across the UK. You will work with well-known online, retail, food, and manufacturing organisations, managing consultative, project-based sales and collaborating closely with internal technical teams to deliver tailored automation solutions with clear commercial value. This role offers strong progression opportunities within the automation sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales process for complex automation projects from initial contact to contract.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your region.
- Build strong customer relationships through meetings, workshops, and ongoing communication.
- Produce high-quality proposals, presentations, and commercial submissions.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop concepts, pricing, and bids.
Requirements
- Degree qualified (2:1 preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience within the warehouse automation or complex technical sales sector.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage long sales cycles.
- Confident communicator with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel across the UK with a full, clean driving licence.
