With a growing portfolio of large-scale projects, we are seeking an experienced Planner to join our dynamic team in our Dublin office. The successful candidate will play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects by preparing, monitoring, and updating project programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company and contribute to some of the most exciting infrastructure projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, monitor, and update project programmes using appropriate planning software such as Primavera P6 & MS Project.
- Prepare tender and construction programmes, incorporating project milestones, resource allocation, and critical paths.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate progress reporting and programme updates.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to manage programme expectations.
- Provide regular progress reports, forecasts, and dashboards to management and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, environmental requirements, and project specifications.
- Identify risks to the programme and propose solutions to address potential delays.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. – A minimum of 3 years of experience in project planning within the construction or civil engineering sectors.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and project lifecycles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse project teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of contract forms such as NEC or similar is an advantage.
